I hate to ask this but......
I know this question has come up countless times, but i seriously cant find the answer through the search feature so dont tell me to use the search, haha. all i could find was V6 and 5.0
Anyway how much oil do i put in my 2002 GT engine. 5 or 6?

less rotating mass= more horsepower. so sometimes i even ran 5 at the track.

put in 5, then check the oil on the dipstick. if it reads full, then great, start up the car and let it run for about 30 seconds or so, then check the oil agin as you have now just pumped oil through the filter and back through the engine where it has previously draind out... you will probly have to add more
you have a 2002 so i am assuming yours is going to take about 6 to 6 1/2 quarts as i have learned from a previous thread today(and from my car on friday), for some reason the 2002's and 2003's (idk what other years) take 6.5 as aposed to the 5.5 in the 2000's

really, shit. well maybe i didnt put 5.5 in last time. so i gotta buy 7 quartz now just to be safe. god damn. im going royal purple this time too haha.
