Alternative to NGK TR6 plugs...Misfire!!

Ever since installing the ngk TR6 plugs to go along with the supercharger, the car will randomly run with a miss. maybe 2 days without and then it will just decide to start missing. It never did that before these plugs. One mechanic started laughing when i told him it had NGK plugs in it. He said those are straight garbage! So hell... is there some others that are OK. Remember they have to be a colder plug for the supercharger. Any suggestions??? What else may be the problem if yall think it is not the plugs...

Autolite plugs are the way to go man, I am trying to find the part number for the 1 stage colder but the 2 stage colder plug is the AR94.

supercharged applications require at least a stage cooler plug. some say 2 stages cooler. why and all that i dont know. just doing what im told. i say stay away from ngk. Ive taken them in and out... cleaned... changed them around, etc. Bottom line... they suck. Autolite is what im getting tomorrow. You know they suck when mechanics laugh at you for using them. he didnt even care to look at anything else on the car as soon as i told him they were NGK plugs. He said, "theres your problem!".

that kinda sucks...when I asked my spark plug question I got the majority of answers saying ngk...so that's what I bought...now I'm feeling like I got ripped off and I haven't even put them in yet.

I have run tr 6's as well with 11psi and never had no issues at all. plugs always look great and gap always good. what did you have them gapped at ? I think something else is causing your random misfire.

I used to have a misfire going on and it eventually blew a fuse in the engine bay. Come to find out there was a bracket on the backside of the drivers side head that was shorting out the COP wires when the engine would move a certain way. We took the bracket off and i have not had a problem since.

could it be the injectors? It is random... it did it all day yesterday.... cranked it up this morning and has been driving great all day. What does that sound like if you dont think its the plugs?

What gap are you running with the TR6's? Ive never had a problem with them, Id say thats one of the most common plugs for boosted mod motors.
