03/04 cobra Gauge cluster in a 99?
I just bought one and was under the impression that it will fit no problem. Now lately i have been hearing that you have to switch the circuit board on the back to make it work. Then I hear it will fit fine just prob with calibration due to the 160 MPH speedo. Will this swap into my 99GT or what?

you will have to disable your PATS for it to work.

i tried switching circuit boards but then the gauges dont light up properly, you will need to turn off PATS which your tuner can do for it to work using the cobra circuit board

i put an 03 cobra gauge in my 2002 mustang gt. you just have switch the biggest chip in the middle of your circuit board to the new gauge cluster.

Everything should just swap right over. You do realize the 03/04 cluster has a integrated boost gauge right? I'm not sure if the main connectors are the same. There may be an extra PIN socket in the cobra board that the GT dash wiring may not have. Just a thought, more than likely it will swap in though and it will be self explanitory once you have everything out. You'll need a special kind of hex bolt to unscrew the cluster out. t7 i think?
