Pypes o/r x
Is there anyhting I need to look out for with this midpipe?
Do they fit like they should? do they hang low? will I only need MILs or both MILs and o2 extensions?

Mine fit like shit and leaks. It wouldnt bolt up to my flowmaster catback. For the money its good and sounds nice. I just gotta take it to the muffler shop and have them tweak it.

you will need mills, No extensions. Although i didnt go through pypes but my Mac went right up. and i didnt need any extensions. Also make sure you disconnect the battery so you dont get shocked if you didnt know and if the Pipe comes with a Paper gasket then go get an OEM gasket, I HIGHLY Recommend this! The Paper ones will blow out in 20 minutes.

haha yeah that was a nightmare.... A freakin 30 minute install ended up taking 3 weeks haha.
they might. I know autozone carries them the OEM one. But you may have to order it. They told me it would take them 2 days to get the part in which is pretty fast.

I have the pypes o/r x pipe, with factory catback and flowmasters welded in. it fits nice to the factory dome thing back there. it does hang a little low, but not terribly bad. I don't really mind how the underside of my car looks so I used some metal strapping to hold it up a little bit just for my own desire. you won't be disappointed with it, I'm still going to weld the seams up just beacuse I don't trust the bolts and connector flanges.

does it hang lower than youd expect LTs to hang? If its the same as LTs I dunno about it... those hang a little too low for me as I DO go over a few speedbumps from time to time. plus my drive way has a huge bump on on end. Its a loop driveway.

my pypes o/r x pipe fit on perfect...for what it's worth...
I didn't need the 02 extenders, I did have to take one of the front 02 brackets that holds the wire down out to get one of them to reach, but it all was rather easy. I did mine myself in about 3 hours. Definitely get some water displacement or the bolts are hopeless to get off. |

Ive taken it off before. Clutch and transmission rebuild
I could prolly get the mid pipe off and the new on on and running in an hour or less... Ive got all the little tricks and all that down... I know when to use the swivels and where to slide the extensions do mils go where the FRONT O2s are?

man I had to build this crazy swiveling extension monster, haha. we called it frankenrachet, it was so ridiculous, because the socket I had didn't fit the ratchet, so it was just a mass of swiels, extenders, adapters and shit...haha, it was fun putting my x pipe on.
