Ok this should go in the visuals section, so mods, please feel free to move this, but i thought i'd post it here first becuase theres much more people that visit this section.

I want to paint certain parts of the inside of my car to match the exterior paint... for example, the surrounding of the dashboard cluster, the surrounding of the power windows and locks, and the surrounding of the radio/air temperature cluster.... u kno, its like a flat black on a stock mustang, but i want to paint it mineral grey.

I kno i need to sand it down, but do i need primer? should i use clear coat as well, after the paint of course?

Yes use primer and clear coat if you want the best job. Alot of times the paint will peel after awhile. Here check out this link...they dont suggest primer, but it couldnt hurt. Mustangworld Interior Paint how-to

There is a special primer that adheres to plastic. It then lets the paint stick.

If not the paint will chip eventually.
