Hey I'm thinking about doing a 18 inch dd in the rear with a 17 up front, any opinions? Or any pics? Thanks

18's will fit fine, and i dont think at that small of a rim the 'bigger in the back' effect will be the same
it will probably just look like you have spares on the front and rims on the back

i think that mustangs are not much of a wedge, it looks freaking amazing on vettes, especially the new ones, but it doesnt do the same thing for me on mustangs

+1. I think the idea is cool. and it looks cool on the mustang. it doesn't look bad or anything but it sure doesn't Stand out as it does on vetts and vipers etc.

personally, i'm not a big fan of it, BUT.... its your car, if you like the way it looks... DO IT!

if it were me, i would slam it on some 17's with deep dish on back or go 18's all around

ive seen it in person.. while it looks okay.. you have to be careful on what tire sizes you order or it will look goofy.. i.e... more tire in the front than in the rear.. im gonna go 17x9/10.5

I just dropped my stang with H&R SS springs with black 17x9 and 17X10.5 dd fr500's and it looks freakin sick now. 17's look bigger when the car is lowered. But you cant go wrong with 18's either. Im not a fan of 17/18 combos. To each his own tho.

I have 265/30/18 in the front and 295/35/18 in the rear... it gives it that sorta looks that it's ready to rumble lol... more sidewall on the rear actually looks kinda badass imo

i have 17x8 up front and 18x10 in the back youll never know the difference. Tires for 18" rims do run more expensive though, like a $100 more tire

I run that combo and love the look, its not a huge difference but it gives it just a nice lil touch in the looks department

I was thinking of doing the exact same rims and sizes on mine. Do you have a pic of that man?
