got my sct in
i got my sct xcal3 in i installed my tune from am...it doesnt seem to be that bad but then again i havent really takin it out and really drove the shit out of it to see if it made a difference or not...i already started the process of getting my tirck tune so im pretty stoked about that

how exactly does the whole data logging process work...do i have to have a laptop hooked up to the tuner to data log it?

I always used a laptop.....but I believe that is the best way.

can u datalog with the tuner then transfer it to the computer?

not very long. and there isn't much of a point data logging if you don't have a wide band.

data logging without a wide band just for bolt ons for a trick tune would br ok wouldnt it?...what all would i need for wide band? sensor and what else?

the sensor and gauge .. trick tuners sells them for around $260 I believe.
if you continue to mod a wide band is your friend.
