OBD code P0320
Alright guys, you all have help me out alot in the past...I need you again. I just replaced the engine in my 01. The motor went in without any problems ets, etc. Motor is running very smooth, however....when I really get on it (WOT) rpms at about 4500 to 5500 the engine cuts out like its hitting the rev limiter. It will only do this when I have the pedal to the floor, if I ease it up it will go to the rev limiter (have set at 6200 with a diablo tuner) and sputter like its supposed to. Then I got the dreaded check engine light, the code was this: P0320 Ignition Engine Speed (PIP) Input circuit fault.
What will cause this and what do I need to do to fix it? |

it sounds like that the ignition is not keeping up with the rpms at WOT.
thats why it could be cutting out at higher rpms at WOT. can the diablo tuner data log?? |

Visually inspect the Crankshaft Position (CKP) sensor wiring and the terminals in the CKP sensor connector. Look for corroded or loose terminal connections, poor solder crimps, wiring insulation damage, intermittent shorts, etc... If you dont see anything wrong replace the CKP sensor

Here's what the shop manual says about possible causes for P0320...
I'd double and triple check the wiring,

Thanks for the replies!
Modified88Dreamer...You are the winner!!! I went out and checked the CPK sensor and the connector had worked itself loose and was filthy. After cleaning the connections it clipped right back in place and it works like its supposed to! Thank you very much...I knew that I could count on you guys...your the best!!!!
