check engine light
ok so over the weekend i decided to degrease the inside of my car because it was pretty dirty. what i did was i bought some degreaser thing and sprayed it all on my car with the battery covered. after 15 mins i washed it down with my hose. since then i can feel the car pushing while i am stopped or while i am driving i can feel the car act differently and tonight when i was coming home from work my check engine light turned on.. my car just completed its 3000 miles and i was thinking about changing the oil this weekend anyway.. but i was wondering if the engine light came on because of the needed oil change? do you think my spark plugs might have gotten wet?

if so take it back to the dealer and tell them the light came on and have them check it. don't tell them you sprayed shit on the engine or they might make you pay for checking the light. that $96 to just plug the machine up to your car. |

i have a 2000 gt with about 80000 miles on it now.. should i just take it to autozone and run there computer there? to see if there is a misfire?

take it to autozone or someone like them and have them read it. if they dont have the book for the codes write them down then look them up online.
