Patriot sucks

I made 7 hp more after adding stage 2 Patriots heads and the also added 2* of timing and ran 200 rpms higher. This was a 515 hp supercharged car. They got some of the low rpm cruising miss out at tuners but that is about it. Also I'm sorry I went with the bullets. Head is ringing after the 200 mile trip,

Saying I'm disappointed is an understatement. I have spent thousands off dollars to ruin what was a nice car.

F*ck!!!

The only other things that might be a little to blame. are my deep dish wheels which are a lot heavier than the stock satin gt wheels I had last time and it was 26* hotter than last time.

Sorry to hear the bug got to you too... I will never, ever, run a Patriot Part on my car again... Worst decision in the world.

the heads i bought locally were from alabama cylinder head AKA patriot performance. Now mine werent ported, but the ports were off, and the valve seals and guides were crap.

They were not ported by Patriot Perfomance. They were a "stock Replacement" head from Albama Cylinder Head, but Patriot uses the same castings as Alabama cylinder head.

Turns out Patriot or ACH bought 450,000 bad casted heads from ford thinking no big deal we are going to port them anyway... Turns out the valve guides, seals, and all that junk was bad too and they didnt fix that part ethier. The ports were way off and not to mention they sold me a toast head already. It had been run of no oil pressure and had huge gashes in the cam journals. I will never ever touch a Patriot head for any car.

In fact for being so "patriotic" patriot perfomance SBF heads are made in China... explain that to me.

I'm going to do a compression test tomorrow just to make nothing else is wrong.

Maybe I'm expecting to much for 13 lbs of boost. Could it be I need to increase the amount of boost to take advantage of the heads?
