My Car Is Doing Somthing Funny

i have a 2001 mustang gt auto, its happened 2 times already once on the freway coming back from an oakland a's gamei was going like 85 then i let off the gass and put it up to neutral a big cloud of grey smoke came out of my tail pipes like a seafoamed it, then just now i was racing a mercedez ml 550 (pretty quick suv) i was in 1 then i shifted to 2 then drive and after i was ahead a turn came and i let off the gas and put it into neutral and again big cloud of grey smoke,i have a o/r x but i dont think it is because that, what could it be?

well then dont throw your auto in neutral is all i got

i dont know what's causing it man, but don't be doing that to your car unless (a) you have a shift kit, or (b) don't mind replacing expensive parts

if your car doesnt have a shift kit, upgraded valve body, and isnt tuned...leave it in d, and be done with it.

I agree with the above comments. Leave the car in drive. That said, does it smoke at any other time or only when you put the car in neutral?

Could be valve stem oil seals are leaking a little.
