Still showin the code.
Ok i have replaced the gas cap and the egr valve and both times the code P0401 came back. Now I found this website, OBD-II Trouble Code: P0401 Insufficient EGR Flow, about this code but I don't know what the DPFE switch is could anyone tell me?

Differential Pressure Feedback, EGR sensor. most parts stores will have it listed as "EGR Sensor". just replace it and you should be fine. i just did this on my 02 Exploder...

there's a black bracket behind the upper intake plenum just in front of the firewall. on the back of it is a blck plastic sensor with an electrical connector and 2 rubber vacuum lines coming off it. it's held onto the bracket by 2 bolts. that's the DPFE sensor...

Ok cool man thanks that helps me out alot. I let ya know how it goes. I just fixed an exhaust leak and erased the code and if it comes back thats what I am going to replace.

Here's what the '03 Ford shop manual says about P0401, it's more specific then the generic description...

Yeah thats like that website I found on my 1st post. Im hoping that the exhaust leak is what was causing it but if it comse back I'll let you know.
