spraying intercooler with nitrous
does anyone know if any of the nitrous would go into my engine. if i had a spray bar on the front of the intercooler? it is an air to air intercooler

Yes, the nitrous would go into the engine. Not sure on how effective it is, but I've seen it done. I've seen an especially interesting kit on a Supra that not only made some 600-700 hp at the wheels, but also rid itself of turbo lag due to the increased exhaust volume. Like I said, it will work, but as far as efficiency in a nitrous system goes, I'm a little hazy.

well yea you probably would but it probably will not give you much power its mostly used to cool down the air coming in

the supra could of also had a methanol injection kit on it. but yeah like you said it lowers the air inlet temp, lets you increase boost safer

It won't get into the system it's sealed. It would work better if it did lol.

lol, I don't see how the nitrous would. It sprays the outside of the intercooler. If it could get in you have some major leak issues and wouldn't be able to build boost.
