unknown whistling noise

ok so here's the issue...

after i've been driving the car a while...i can hear like a whistling noise on decel...as soon as i accelerate it goes away but when i start coasting or decelerating it comes back...any ideas? doesn't seem to be affecting performance any...pulley, belt?

its kind of hard to tell where its coming from, i have some tranny issues...but it doesn't sound like its coming from the tranny, and it makes no difference whether the clutch is in or out

Someone has put a vortech or procharger under the hood for you. Punch it, and then you will know if this has happened.
