That sucks, but it seems like nitrous pooled in the intake and you blew up the intake. Internally the motor should be okay if that's the case.

It's next to my shifter. It sprays at full throttle.

if its just the intake manifold thats not to expensive to fix...i know a new pi for a 2v is only 192 bucks on AM but no sure about the 3vs

I'm hoping it's the intake. That's a lot less expensive... The RPMs weren't high at all.

I am wondering how LOW the rpm's where not how HIGH. I think you detonated on the low rpm's and poped the intake runner.

It's the 02 GT. That's exactly what the problem was. The RPMs were probably at within a hair up or down of 2k. We'll see once we pry the hood loose.

His dad I thing has the GT500 which is an S197 but it is a 4V 5.4.
Just like a Cobra is still a new edge.
