When should you replace coil packs
I'm sure as hell not about to spend $520 on new coil packs when i dont need to.
so when should you replace them, if you even do? there are some accel ones for $30 a piece but still pricey.

well how do i know when theyre 'broken' or do you mean like physically break?
btw how do i get to my spart plugs without taking the fuel rail off.

your car would not fire in that cylinder. you would know if a coil pack was bad.
as far as the fuel rail you just have to play with it a little and they will come out. I never took my fuel rail off when changing my plugs in my 01 GT |

yeah but arent they directly under the rail, which means you cant get at them?

you can get to them without removing the fuel rail. it's just easier to remove the fuel rail for some people.

and i gap them between 1.32 mm and 1.42 mm?

i removed the fuel rail before i did mine just make sure to bleed the pressure off first or it makes a big mess

Absolutely no reason to pull the rails. Just take out the bolts, twist the coil a little and it will pop right out of there.

correct me if im wrong, but if you get a 9.5 second quarter mile, shouldnt you be going faster than 146?

That was with a loose converter on a maiden voyage with a new setup.

Your car will throw a code that even says what cylinder is out, there will be a primary circuit failure or whatnot.
And swivel sockets are your friend, dont remove the fuel rail. Just make sure you thread the plugs in by hand (without the ratchet) to make sure you dont cross thread.
