Tuner question

So ive heard from someone that diablosport tuners are better for custom tunes, but sct is better for 'canned' tunes. Anyone know if this is true or not?

not true at all. a tuner doesn't make the tune. the person tuning it does.

They basically do the same thing. Find out what software the performance shop that would tune your car uses and go with that.

well the closest place id trust to tune my car is like 150 miles away lol. but they were the ones who told me what i just said, so im assuming diablo, ive just heard better things about xcals

if you want to use SCT Joe from Trick Tuners is the man to go to.

+1 for joe. hes set me up and saleenwolf ( david) also.

the tuner should come with some preloaded tunes which i think area idea for cars with like intake, exhaust. and midpipe or so.. they normally come pretty close to where you need to be but joe asks you to datalog to see how close it is and sometimes he needs to tweek a few settings to get it just right but they are damn close. you just tell them what mods you have and they email you a tune specificly for those mods. very simple task and so far joe has done good by me. i reccommend sct xcal3

well at first it would be a canned tune. then you data log and send him the info and you get a new tune which is custom. free tunes for 2 years if you mod more.

thats the route im taking i just sent in my vehicle info yesterday and now im waiting for the tune so i can start the datalogging
