Great deals on electric water pumps

Well I just found a hell of a deal on a new Meziere WP I got it and the relay kit for 299 shipped.

I bought it from summit for 251 and 34.96 for the relay wiring kit. I had to get them to price match on the relay kit. Meziere had it cheaper on their sight. Summit orginally wanted 45 for the relay wiring kit

11-14 hp for $300 is not bad and it runs cooler in traffic. Plus I want to run a bigger crank pulley. So this keeps me from over spinning the water pump.

i also heard the stewart water pumps can add double digit hp gains.. when/if my pump goes out i'll get one or the other.

It would work nice with your udp's to free up some wasted power. I can't find any where else for less then 350 without the relay kit and before shipping.

I'm not familar with the stewarts?

Like I said the main reason I wanted it was so I could run a bigger crank pulley to help make more boost.

Well the relay kit allows you take the power right where the battery hooks to the fues box under the hood but still be activated when the key is turned.

You could always get your power from a switched power soure but it might have a hard time getting the amps it needs to run correctly.

I like the meizere because of it's great rep for durabilty. Last thing you want is a electric pump failing and your motor overheating.

stewart is just an efficient belt driven water pump. I heard pros and cons both ways. Ill probably end up with an electric water pump, i have water temp, and intercooler temp gauge, so i would know to turn her off if it does go out.

think somebody had the relay stop working a week or so back on theirs.

The Stewart pump does not add double digit gains, maybe crank, but not to the wheels and it is NOT electrical. Mezieres used to be $100 more than that I believe so that is a good deal. It would be a good investment to get a water temperature gauge to compliment the Meziere if any of you are thinking of buying one. I think I bought my Autometer mechanical water temp gauge for ~$45 and the upgrade to an electrical gauge is maybe $20-$30 more.

I do have one question though. Do you have to buy a smaller belt when you put on an electric pump or attach another pulley?

The pump comes with an idler pulley that allows you to use the same belt. I bought one because I needed to get rid of the underdrive pulleys when the supercharger was installed. Mine is installed with the relay and I had to have the relay replaced not long ago. The car had strange symptoms. It started spraying coolant out the radiator cap before there was any sign of overheating. If it happens again I now know to hot wire around the relay to keep the pump running.

I knew it was a typo lmao they have already made then unavialiable. Its says NA on the price and gives you a link to a subsutute for 350 instead of 250.

I got mine but It wouldn't let me add it to cart myself. So I had to call it in. That was sunday and they just now shipped it. I don't think they wanted let me have it fot that much.

I also noticed that they dropped the handleing so I saved another 12 dollars.

How about 10-12hp from the Stewart Water Pump for $150.00 IMHO it's a much better deal for the gain.

They only had one I guess. I bought and went na on the price. I think it was a mistake. I got it today and the connector was cracked but it still works. It has a black painted idler pulley instead of the aluminum. Maybe it discontinued?

I'd have to see real world dyno tests. An mechanical pump will never out perform an electric one. The motor dosen't have to turn anything.

There are other reasons to run an electric wp. With my overdrive pulley I would be spinning the wp to fast and air rating the coolant, and it's better in traffic for cooling also.
