A/C Stopped working

I don't normally use my air conditioning a whole bunch but lately I started using it more often. I used it for probably 2 1/2 hours in total yesterday, and then it was shut off for the rest of the night. Went to work today, left for lunch and went to put the a/c on and nothing but warm air. The compressor doesn't kick in and none of the fuses are blown, does this mean the compressor is shot? if so is it a hard thing to replace???

turn your car on and have someone turn the AC on...if you here a click in the compressor but it doesnt engage the clutch then your compressor is out..and its not that hard to replace...just have your system vaccumed and go from there.
