well on a stock shortblock keep it to 100-125 and make sure you get a tune on the dyno so they can change the fuel tables and pull timeing

I'd say the same as drgnracin. As long as you get a good tune it'll last forever. Be sure to get all the safety accosories to go with the kit. Like a window switch, fuel cut off switch, and wide open throttle switch.

i was told 150 which I might up mine to in the future, but I have a 100 on mine right now and have not had a problem.

100-125 on a good tune...
With upgraded fuel (boost-a-pump) I say 150 with a good tune would work for a while but I would not recommend it...The Rods are not that strong in the 4.6 2V motors... |

many people run 150 on a rich tune but you have to cut a bit of timing. still on borrowed time though

Yeah I would not run a 150 on a stock 2V...But you could do it for a while...
Just dont make it too rich or you might wash the pistons and spin a bearing... |

But if you have a good tune you dont have to worry about that... I have seen guys run a 100 shot for years on a stock bottom end...Its all in the tune (Within Reason)... |
