Power Expectations And E/T's
hey guys i plan on going with a used centrifugal....hopefully a procharger if not then maybe a vortech..i dont know much about paxtons....but anyway...with my listed mods...what do you expect my rwhp to be? what et's should the car be able to pull? i know i can only run 8-10 lbs of boost and i've gota programmer so could i just get a tune for the blower set up or do i gotta get a new tuner?

400-420 rwhp. with some suspension mods you could get into the 11s easily

400-425 RWHP? Without some head work and some cams I think youll come up short on those numbers. How much boost and what kit? What are you pushing for hp now. I dont see any real hp mods done to your car as of now so I would think with a good tune you would be at say 250-265RWHP. Getting 140RWHP from 6-8psi aint doing it. I would say between 350RWHP-380RWHP JMHO.

i said 8-10 psi not 6-8...so assuming that i'm going with 10...now that i think of it...400-420 doesnt seem too far fetched to me...as a matter of fact...i seem to remember now in an issue of 5.0 Mustants there was a lady who had an '03..yep i'm looking at it now...an 03 with accufab plenum and throttle body...pro 5.0 shifter x pipe and mac cat back....she was pushing 440.

gt silver with full supporting mods and 10psi you will see 400+ . My asumptions were 8psi and what you had for your mods now.As far as the installs, each system is different like with the KB and Prochargers they dont need an oil feed line as the are self lubricated unlike the vortec which needs to have a line drilled into your pan. You can deffinately have it installed over a weekend, or one seriously long day. Good luck with it and post up some #s when your finished.
