Windows

I painted the armrests where all of the window controls and locks are on my car yesterday to match the color of my car. tested before and after to make sure everything worked and they worked fine. I go out today and tried to roll down my windows and they were not working at all (front and back windows in a convertible). the locks and side mirrors work fine. Any ideas?

did you pull the armrests to paint them...if so check for good connections once you plugged them in.

is there any paint seepage down the switches?

actually the window switchess unscrew out and come out as one full unit, try making sure its not a loose wire or that maybe you pressed the lock button.
