this has been talked about over and over. the downfall of all aftermarkets are the loss in low end torque. on n/a the stocker is plenty unless you are consistently winding the car past 6k rpm's, if not then an aftermarket intake is not something you need to plan. boosted cars can take advantage of shorter runners and more plentiful plenum area, but again the stocker is still sufficient enough for a street car.

your gonna gain a couple hp and lose some torque and its gonna cost you damn near 800-1000 bux to get it done. not worth it at all. the stocker is a great design

if you want a t-body, accufab i think is the way to go, ive heard nothing but good things from people who have it, 70 or 75mm, i went with 75 because i wasnt sure what i was going to do with my car, might put a s/c on it, i dunno. and for CAI, depends what one you get, i got a steeda, alot of ppl mention JLT, a couple hp up to like 10, maybe more with a tune, it depends

Currently there are NO aftermarket heads for the 4.6. EVERY head from every company will be ported ford PI heads 152cfm @ .500 lift. A well ported head can flow as good as 173cc intake, and 206cfm at .500 lift depending on the speed shop. The only head I've seen flow better is Fox lake at something like 223.

These are off the top of my head numbers and should be verified before thinking it's gospel.
