How's the 5-0 situattion? Do they hassle you about them?

I'm in Cali so they're pretty strict about that shit but I've seen a lot of G-35's running with them so maybe the cops are more lax about it.

I would recommend Nightshade. I've used it on countless vehicles and the results are AMAZING. I'm waiting for my order to come in so I can do it to my tail lights, headlights, and foglights.

It is permanent and does require a decent amount of work to make it look nice. The basic process is: clean lights with dewaxer/degreaser, spray several coats of nightshade (number of coats depends on how dark you want them), wet sand, clearcoat, wet sand, polish it real nice, and wax. It'll take me a whole day to do a set of headlights right. But I don't rush and find things to do while the paint is drying.

I bought this set that someone used the spray tint on for $25 and re did them myself at work. Since they were already tinted DARK they are WAY too dark now. But for $25 bux i figured out how to do it myself. I will be doling mine with a product called POLANE clear tinted with black dye. (i work in a finish shop). I'm going to do the tails, third brake light and side markers but not THAT dark. WIll post up pics next week.

Tried the VHT Niteshade and it looked like hell. Followed the directions to the T and it still streaked. Was able to remove it with Prep Solv.

I've never had a problem w/ Niteshade. Take your time and apply it correctly and it will look amazing. You can't rush it b/c after all, it is paint. If you apply too much at one time it will run and make streaks. Use multiple light layers.
