tail light tint

i want to tint my tail lights and i was woundering what all you guys would suggest. i was thinking window tint but not sure what % tint to use.

do not use window tint. it is not made of the same stuff, it is not made to withstand the weather, it is not made to adhere to plastic. there is vinyl tint kits made for tail lights, it dont cost much so get something that is made for it and do it right.

im not sure about the taillights. i tinted my fog lights and it was pretty simple

go on ebay and find lamin-ex tail light vinal tint and get 20% its either that or 35% and 35% doesnt look right i dont think any way

me and doc both have some cheap set off ebay, like $15 bucks or something like that. it has withstood everything i have threw at it, and still looks great.

Mine are 50% tint. Easy to apply. Do not use window tint. Vinyl kits are the way to go. Try autobadges.com

and do you sand your taillights or no?

its called vht nightshades and i wouldnt do it strictly because its irreversible...and im pretty sure you have to sand and clearcoat..
