car is hesitating. what wrong?

all i did was change an alternator(yesterday) and a clutch (3 weeks ago). now when i changed the clutch it was fine but after the alternator was put in, it hesitates in the lower rpms. i did have to take off the k&n air filter but that was put right back on so i don't think that a problem. nothing should be wrong with the clutch. also, i was coming home from the dark night( fucking awesome, go see it after you answer my question lol) and the car was fine until i got about 5 minutes to my house, thats when it starts to hesitate. thanks for any input you guys. o and i dont beat on it (not yet anyway)

A bad ground can cause it to do that. It's not the O2's. Did you plug your IAT back in from messing with your filter stuff?

are you sure you tightened all the hose clamps when re-installing the filter. Is air leeking by post sensors messing with the air curve?

its between 1500-2800 rpm. what i dont get is it was like that when i left for work. coming home from the movies it was fine until the last 5 minutes. only thing i didnt put back on the air filter was this rubber gasket, which was to big for it anyway. do you think i need a tuneup as well? what consists of a tuneup?
