Dyno Results!

Went to get a dyno tune at long last and made 422hp/395tq. Previous best was 394hp/356tq. I'll post the dyno sheet in a minute.

Sweet, whats your Timing at? Do you know your fuel pressure, and what your Injectors were at? What fuel pump and size injectors are you using.

Who tuned it?

Lots of questions, I like to know how every other tuner get to their numbers.

Also give a mod list.

Mods are in my garage. The race tune has 18.5 degrees and street 16.5.

I like the timing. What size pulley and lbs of boost are you making after the I/C? what did you pick up peak with the powerpipe? Did you have the long tubes before or after the Vortech install?

It's a 3.33" pulley making 11psi. I put the powerpipe, vortech, and l/ts on all at the same time.

Sorry that was my sarcasm about the timing. I like a race tune to be in the 11.5-12 range. You where reading your out of boost timing cause 18 is lean as fizuck. With that kind of timing number each * being 10-15hp timing alone and no mods would put you over 400.

Who tuned your car?

This is one of my dyno sheets from when I first put on my V2. The mods are 99 2v, Stock heads/Cams/Intake, Stock Exhaust Manifolds, 75mm tb, CL plen, O/R H pipe, Flows, FMIC (7* over ambient), 3.12 pulley, 10lbs after the I/C, 60# injectors, stock fuel system with a walbro 255. This dyno read 436 and 410. The next tune read 441rwhp/416rwtq

What do you mean I'm reading my out of boost timing? I didn't read anything, the tuner told me. It was tuned by Houston Performance as stated at the top of each dyno sheet. Are you talking about a/f ratio or timing? The a/f ratio was around 11.8.

I'm going to go to bed and try and make sense of my stupid posts tomorrow, Brain Fart. Your made some good numbers for the little bit of mods you have.

I think in my original point I was trying to say was, a lot of tuners are afraid to throw timing on a car with a stock bottom end and more than 8lbs of boost. I personally like to have a lot of timing. As long as you don't lean/ping you're good with a DD. Timing can increase and decrease based on the tune and # of boost for safety. What is your air fuel?

Lol I just posted my a/f, I said 11.8. So are you saying that race tune is okay to use on the street or should I only use that with a little bit of race fuel?

Great numbers, congrats. Was the 422 your street or race tune. I only have one tune because I have one of the very first single program sct red chips.

You need to shit can that Walbro before it takes a dump on you.

In returnless systems they eventually fail because they're are not meant to handle changing voltages and it burns the brushes up in them. My failed with in a year.
They are great for the 96-98's You need a pump intended for a returnless fuel system.

Svt focus/04+ Aviators/Ford GT etc.

Race gas, never! You have a street car don't ever even think about race gas. The tune is is pretty spot on. I just don't know why your numbers aren't a little higher. I'm thinking 440's like mine...

The tuner told me to use some race gas at the track with the race tune just to make sure nothing blows up. They said I would be closer to 450 in cold weather.
