i dont think you should be having one wheel peels in a GT unless your in need of a rebuild

the diff you should be spinning both wheels easily and if only one is spinning you need to rebuild the rearend

think its around 40 bucks. i would buy 2 kits and over pack them too.

I feel you man, I have zero traction with my GT. and I only have bolt ons, I think the 4.10's are getting me. Plus my rear tires are almost bald. Its very natural to not have the traction you want in a GT. I dunno what these guys are saying about rebuilds n stuff, but you are def okay.

If you are looking for traction, I think what you wanna hear is some slightly wider tires, if you wanna run street tires. Or another option rubber wise is drag radials. Besides that, you wanna work on suspension, aftermarket lower and upper control arms will help your launch and traction greatly. I might be adding those next.
