New tune tomorrow.

Well I have an appointment with Don Lasota at Big Shot dyno in the morning. I have added an 8 rib set up, 18 percent overdrive crank pulley and a slightly bigger SC pulley. But I will still be spinning it a little harder than last time. I just hope I'm not getting a little over zealous and spinning my little V1 to hard. Well I know I am, but the s-trims seems to like a little of that. I would just like to see 16-17 psi. I also installed an electric water pump.

I went to Rodeheavers today and had the return for the bypass moved as close to the SC as they could. This seemed to have fixed about 90 percent of my drivabilty problems. I think with a little more tuning it should run pretty smooth.

Switching to blow through and ditching the bypass was the best thing I ever did. It fixed every problem.

I have considered it but I not sure if my Maf would be enough in that configuration. Besides mine is 90mm and it's to find a spot for it because you don't want any reducers right before or after the maf.

Wasnt happy with my numbers with all the work im putting into it. Went from 405/415 to 451/483 with 5 more psi (from 10-15) and an aluminum driveshaft. Not to mention drivability is not there yet (get a tune twice a week to tweak it lol).

So im thinking heads, or LT headers. then call it quits for hp mods and just enjoy it (and beef up rear end). What do you think i should get? Big restriction right now is the 2.1 kb inlet being only 75 and thats max. And i have catless midpipe so dont know if LT would make a huge difference. I know heads would probably make more, and cost a bit more.

I would do blower cams first.

Have cams, stage 2 blower vt.

If i get my heads ported will valves need to be changed? Or would they not touch that part? Cause i got stainless steel valves. Dont want to replace em haha. Would probably just buy already ported ones from somewhere if thats the case...

If you're having any driveability problems I would definitely consider it. You can just sell the one you have and buy a different one, that's why I did. I got a 75mm Pro-M but I've heard the 05+ mafs are great too. The suck through caused too many problems for me it just wasn't worth it.

I didn't have them until recently that's when I installed the mondo. After that is when I had trouble. I have relocated where it enters the powerpipe and it seems alot better. KB's have made over 900 and they have bypasses just not close to the maf. If you can eliminate the back wash then it actually works better.

Besides my sct maf is a good one. Well I got to start getting ready. I tune at 9am and it's 200 miles away

I don't see how it would work better? The problem I was having had nothing to do with the bypass. It was that since the MAF was so close to the filter that any air blowing on the filter screwed with the MAF reading. I'm not saying you can't make 900hp with a draw through. Mine worked fine at WOT but I'm talking about the driveability. Looking forward to seeing your results.
