Whats the trick to removing the upper control arm bushings?

You could chisel them out

Thanks man i'll give that a shot this afternoon when i get off. Anybody else have any input?? these are the upper control arm bushings on a 99 GT rear

Some people chisel them out with an air hammer. I had to use a torch, a hammer and a scrapper to get mine out.

Mine came out ok, but like others have said they can get pretty nasty.

And mine are deffinately pretty nasty, im trying to build up the rear and swap it into my cobra, bought the rearend but its got some surface rust expecially around the upper CA bushings
