I have seen cars pick up 25+ rwhp from one dyno to the next. Jivepepper your point is correct, it is a tuning tool unless you just dyno race it means very little.

I have an example.

I put 598 down at Big shot dyno and only 572 at SGS. But I perfer the tune from SGS. Both dynojets. SGS has an in ground and Big shot is a above ground unit.

My friend has a turboed v6 that put down 431 at SGS and 471 on a different dynojet that was mobile.

dyno numbers don't mean much but I did lay down 320/333 on a mustang dyno. My car also traps 111mph (full weight, in the summer & NA) so I believe it's making pretty good power.

To our discussion or the heads. As far as the discussion it was done PM, the heads are on Livernois website. All they did was close up the chambers and reshaped them a bit. As far as I know his (AC) heads made it to the modeling phase, mine made it to the flow bench and stopped there due to funds. Maybe AC will chime in if he got any further, I am not sure if he pursued it much further.

All I have pursued since our last conversation has been some sleep. I have had very little time to accomplish anything outside of my regular work. Sorry.

Good luck because I'll you'll need.

Good heads and cams alone will almost cost that. That's not including gaskets labor. Plus no matter how well the heads flow and how aggressive the cams it's not going make 450rwhp with out some type of power adder. Plus it have high compression and be spun to the moon To even get some where close/

2400 for trickflow heads. 600 for cams, 400 for gaskets, and the arp head studs. That alone is 3400

With stock compression, ported stock heads, and cams you only see about 320 rwhp on the average.

Was that SAE corrected on a DynoJet? I'm not saying that the Dynojet is the best dyno but it is the most common for comparison. Standard corrected numbers are also always higher than SAE.
That car would probably be low 330's high 320's SAE at best.
