Any help is much appreciated.

Tru-Cool MAX transmission cooler with external thermal bypass: Bulkpart transmission parts

This is what I am going to be putting into my stang when I put my stall converter in. It is a pretty beefy unit. You might be able to get away with something a little smaller if you are running stock stall but this one was recommended by my converter builder because of the pretty high stall that I am putting in. I already have it and if your going to be driving the mustang around with temps under 32 degrees then get the one with the thermal bypass as this unit will cool your transmission off too much in colder environments.

The install shouldn't be too hard...most units come with directions and the most important part is to get the inlet and outlet hooked up right. As far as where and how hard to install...well I haven't put mine in yet...so can't say? The one I have comes with some brackets so that you may install it in a variety of ways. I might wait till I put my 03 cobra bumper on to install mine because that way I can guage just how close I can get it to that big opening that is in the bumper. Normally you would see an intercooler there but since there will be a big hole there...I thought it to be appropriate to fill in that big hole that is going to be there otherwise.
