UPR firewall adjuster speed clutch quadrant
Anyone running thoe, and what do you think? I'm leaning towards getting them because I've always had good luck w/ their products.

I have the full UPR setup but I don't have enough miles with it to say great or not. If feels good though it is kinda hard to adjust. But again I haven't driven enought with it to realy say.

I was told the stock cable is better to keep in and just use the quadrant and firewall adjuster. I think I'm gonna go w/ it. If it feels good and I've always liked the products I got from them then should be fine.

I have been running their triple-hook quadrant and "Quick-click" adjuster for 35k miles or so (stock cable). Very pleased with it...

Yea the only reason I got the cable was because I was automatic and I needed the whole clutch setup up so I just bought the whole kit with triple hook, adjuster, and cable

You will likely have to use an adjustable cable with the speed quadrant.

Some of the guys I've talked to say get those and stay w/ the stock one that most aftermarket ones are garbage.

Mostly because that's what the people at UPR told me, the speed quadrant hook is so far "back" that the OEM cable may not work...
I was going the get the speed quadrant, but having to use (maybe, apparently some OEM cables will work) an adjustable cable soured me on it after the numerous tales of woe I've heard re: aftermarket cables--even Steeda's...

The speed release quadrant noticably increases the pedal effort. This is just basic mechanical principles at work--doing "x" amount of work in less time requires more force.
It's not absolutely horrible once you get used to it, but you will notice it...

Understand that. We'll see. I'll talk to the UPR guys and see what they recommend.
