150 shot?
now ive been skeptical about getting nitrous for a while now. if i got a kit i planned on running a 75 shot with the purge, the bottle warmer, and the cup holder switches. (tuned).
ive been watching all these videos lately like myws6 on streetfire and these guys are running 150 shots and they race their cars all the time. what does it take to safely run a 150 shot or even a 100 or 125 for that matter.

An LS1 lol, ive been told we can get away with a 125 shot and a damn good tune.

a window swcith is VERy important as well
and a 125 can be done (very risky tho) with just a handheld but i personally woundlt do it without a dyno tune and for a 150 you definitly need a dyno tune

Fuel pump and spark plugs are two things. I wouldn't mess with it until some quality dyno time also.

so could i pull off a 100 shot safely with a handheld? or should i just stick with the 75?

but injected03 stang ran a 125 shot constantly and in the 1/8th was fast enough to run 11s in the 1/4 (forget his 1/8th time) and he had never been on a dyno

I would think with a good tune from SOMEONE WHO KNOWS WHAT THEY ARE DOING, whether its you or not I think you would be ok.

are the aftermarket intake manifolds strong enough to guarantee that a 100 shot wouldnt blow my shit up?
if not ill probably just stick with the 75. i might have to take that shift light off your hands as well.

Anything will blow up, thats what the window switch and that stuff is for, to keep you from spraying at a bad time. Hell there are a ton of people running juice with the stock manifolds you just need to know when to spray and when not to.

Get a window switch, get a fuel pressure safety switch, and get a wideband so you can keep an eye on your A/F ratio. Don't cut corners with nitrous. That's how things blow up and that's how nitrous gets such a bad rep.

alot can happen you can f your tranny, blow your engine, and snap your re end just being honest ![]() but if you do everyhting and dont half ass it and get a good tune with a 100 shot you SHOULD be fine and most likely will
