rubber peice in clutch?

ok so my dad just got off the phone with the guy that did my clutch and as some of you have heard the last time he did the work for me 3 months ago i was having the same exact problem i had b4

i went back comlaining and on the 4th time he put some rubber thing in and my problem went away

well he just told my dad that the rubber groment (spelling? maybe grawment?) that he put in last time should still be there and my clucth is fine

i dont know wtf he did but is that suppose to be there?

it only took him like a minute to put in when he did and its like up top where the pedal connects i guess

no clue. but this has gone on long enough and you obviously havent taken anybodies suggestions.......

and as soon as i get some anwsers on this thread im going by his shop so i should probably ask him if he replaced the throw out bearing too rite?

i dont know the details cause i didnt read all 15 of your threads on the subject. did you buy a clutch kit?

wat was your suggestion?

to get it looked at and fixed but not go to the same guy

he should do the work and i shouldnt have to pay to get his mistake taken care off

and u siad that i should wait till its done getting broken in and then complain but he says their is no break in period and i tld my dads its already at 300 miles and still as bad or getting worse so he called the shop like 30 minutes ago

when i bought my kit, i had to buy the TOB as well, and I had them give me back all the old parts....clutch, TOB, everything.

no...mine was under warrenty so this guy fixed it for free

he put the same clucth in....

Everyone save a few were telling you to go somewhere else. I know you did and that guy said its normal to, so go to another place. Yes the guy should fix it, but it seems like he isnt going to. Id go somewhere reputable and have it looked at and then take the findings to this guy and threaten to sue him.

there is no break in period. the TOB needs a little time to seat, but it should seat very shortly after you drive it the first time. if it doesnt, it needs to be reseated. I have no clue why your pedal is shaking. My centerforce clutch felt the same as my stock clutch, but it gripped way better and can take the added HP. Maybe there is a rubber grommet in the firewall that he forgot to put in.....why he would have taken it out in the first place I dont know, but no clue with out feeling it or knowing what he did.

Im just saying, i dont know if anyone can give you answers to your questions. take it to a transmission shop or the dealership.

my dad thinks this guy is rite about everything so yea my dad believes him

3 months ago my stock clutch blew out so i had the zoom put in and just like last week i had another zoom put in

both times by this guy

did you buy this zoom clutch as a kit or did this guy just buy it and put it in? sometimes if they do it for you they will just say the old parts are good and put them back. maybe he put in the old TOB. ask him for all the old parts.

yea i didnt buy it he just put it in

i dropped it off n went to school and when i got out my dad was like hey we owe steve 800 bucks and i was like

im gonna ask him for my old TOB which he'll say he doesnt have anymore or something so maybe ill just have to buy a new one for like 40 bucks

would i have to get my whole clutch reinstalled to put in the new tob?
