First track pass since Dec.

So I went to the track last night and here are my times. Mind you I'm not a great driver, it was ~80* w/ 100% humidity (Florida sucks).

1st Pass:
R/T: .059
60': 2.515
330: 6.543
1/8: 9.781
MPH: 76.49
1000: 12.508
1/4: 14.783
MPH: 99.33

2nd Pass:
R/T: .160
60': 2.446
330: 6.416
1/8: 9.656
MPH: 76.15
1000: 12.399
1/4: 14.693
MPH: 98.23

3rd Pass:
R/T: -.118 (fuck my couch)
60': 2.439
330: 6.414
1/8: 9.639
MPH: 76.87
1000: 12.356
1/4: 14.626
MPH: 99.42

I'm happy to say the least, I improved my time every run. 60' is awful though.

Keep in mind I'm running this with the things in my sig and stock 245s in the back.

Great night in general, the first 2 races were against a guy in a full exhaust mach and we were neck and neck till he hit third. He beat me by .1 every time.

Thanks

dude i have never seen such a bad 60ft. is the car spinning and you are just keeping it to the floor or what. If the car spins off the line keeping it to the floor doesn't help

There is a fine line between hooking and spinning on street 245s, I'll take hooking. Track prep was horrid, in Dec. when I last raced I was cutting 2.1 60' on the same tires.

i know trust me, i started racing on 235 tires and was still cutting 1.8 60fts. Yes track prep is a big deal but just flooring the gas and spinning all the way thru first can be avoided. From what i experienced the only time track prep mattered is when on drag radials and slicks. You can feather the clutch to keep the tires from spinning in any condition and still get good 60fts. the track prep only matter when trying to launch at 7k on slicks.

Yeah, currently I'm just aiming for consistency. What's the point in running a good time when you only do it once?
