Still messin around...

Took everyones advice on trying to get my tires to hook but couldnt get them to. Could just be me or the track wasnt in the greatest condition because of the heat. Not really sure. But by the end of the night I ran a 13.412@103.38. Next I'm going to try some adjustable shocks on the back to see if that might help a little

what gears you got? what is your two stage set at? removing that front sway bar will help out a whole lot my first time ever at the track i pulled mine out and dropped two tenths on my 1/4 i can only imagine what would have happened if i had known how to leave then

Well Roos told me to leave at 1500 with my tires but my 2 step wont go down that far. It only activates at 2k or above. So thats what I have it set at. And I'm still running a stock rear with i believe they are 3.27s

It was and I took it out. It didnt have an affect on it. Are any of you running adjustable shocks in the back? I'm going to put a set of Strange in and not sure if the quad shock will affect their performance.

Those gears are KILLING you. i would recommend some 3.90s. with gears you can probably say hello to the 12s. dude if you can learn to do it and you aren't afraid of it try launching a little higher every time thats what i did and once i realized i could do it at 5000 and cut a 1.77 60' i stuck with it

I tried 3000 as my highest so far and got major major wheel spin. One of the guys i met last night is going to bring his bfg drs next time and try those on my car then possibly swap his mt ets. I know about the gears. I'm going to put 3.73s in the back but i want to get 31 splin and detroit locker first

yeah its hard. just relax dont focus on the tree. work on that later. just wait for the light to go green and just go whenever your want take your time and focus you can let that thing out a lot faster than you think when i had 1.77 it felt like i dumped it and it felt awesome. its gonna take practice... luckily for me a bunch of guys i work with rented the race track in buds creek maryland (badass track) and i never paid any attention to the tree i just practiced gettin that thing off the line so maybe some guys on the forum would be interested in a private track rental in your area. call the track, if they do private rentals then post it up in the regional section
