Your opinion wanted

Well guys and gals, I am nearing my return back home! I already have my V1 S-trim and intercooler. I am thinking about getting a new set of heads/ cams while I am at it. I wanted to know what you guys thought the best options were. I am still kicking around the idea of building the bottom end up so I can run more boost... So lets hear some ideas!

Chris

Build the bottom end first, then heads and cams.

What is a pretty common/ decent set-up for building the bottom end? I should just need parts like new pistons, and rods. I believe that the crank should be ok for my purposes. If you could produce a little list of items I will price it and see if it is doable for me. I really want to have around 520 or so hp.

That's not bad, did you purchase the one listed for $1995?

probably. when i bought it, it was $1795, though. got killed on the shipping, it came from Canada. i called them up and spoke to a few techs, and they were really helpful. i told them my plans for the car and the build and they were able to steer me in the right direction. before that, i had bought one of Sean Hyland's books, the one that focused on engines, and what i was told over the phone was 100% consistent with what was in the book, so it gave me that nice warm fuzzy...
