Loudness of exhaust

If i run long tubes on my car catless, how much louder will my car be? I have magnapacks with a catless pipe right now that is pretty damn loud, and if it is going to be extremely loud, what is a quiet exhaust to throw on?

i didn't notice a big increase in volume when i added my long tubes. my exhaust is Mac long tubes, Dr. Gas o/r x pipe and Spintech catback and it's pretty freakin loud. i had a Prochamber before with the long tubes and it was a lot more quiet than it is now...

I havent heard many cars with Long Tubes. the the 2 that i did hear were Trans Ams, and they were freakin Loud. One of them i was right next too drying off their car. the other one i was in my friends pool and he was going down the neighbor hood slowly and it was a good 100 ft from me and it was loud as hell. You could hear the rumble clear as day. Im not sure if these guys had other things done to their cars but i know they did have headers and they were loud and they sounded amazing. They were not cammed either, i know that.

hey, i noticed you have magnapacks and an O/R h pipe. Do you have any sound clips of your exhaust? i already have an O/R h pipe but im thinking of getting the magnapacks.

Ive heard 4Vs with LTs, o/r X and a bullet/glasspack type muffler...

All I have to say is that you can feel it in your chest when they come screaming by...

Only thing louder than set ups like that are track cars... Now THOSE are loud... You can scream at the person next to you and they wont hear a single owrd you say. htats when your about 10 feet from them and their just at idle, let alone on the throttle

The long tubes give it a deeper sound, maybe a little more volume but not that much more. It will rumble more, but its the catback that makes the biggest difference.
