Intercooler & Methanol Cooling OVERKILL??

I'm Looking At Buying A Procharger P-1SC w/3 Core Intercooler And Am Wondering If Its Possible To Add On Additional A Methanol Cooling System Like Snows Boost Cooler Stage-2? Would This Be Overkill With The Intercooler? Any Ideas?

I've Heard Good Things About Snow's Products. There Is A 11sec Duramax In Town Here, With Snow Products, Says The Kits Are Almost Fool-Proof

def go with snow products, but there is no advantage or reason to run the intercooler and the boost cooler. they are doing the same thing. both cooling the air. your not gonna get the power from the meth unless your just running from the blower to the tb. waste of money in my opinion. you might make a couple hp but tis not gonna be near what that advertise. nowhere even close

I don't think so....They are not the same thing. The inter-cools job is to cool the intake air charge. This is necessary on a blown motor because the higher you squeeze the air to make more boost, the hotter the air gets. And the curve is not at all linear, it's experiential meaning the amount of heat produced at 2psi is not double at 4psi, it is 4 times the amount!
The Snow kit (which I had one for my Dodge diesel), works on a different principle. The alcohol in the water spray vaporises very fast and that vaporisation helps cool the intake air charge, but they rely on the kits ability to suppress detonation for HP gains. Meaning you can get by running more advanced ignition timing while at the track. But the kit isn't practical for everyday street driving, because you will go thru the small container of water/alcohol very fast, and if you don't back the timing down then you will have a big problem.
I would invest in a good inter-cooler system, and then latter if you feel the need, invest in a water spray system. Trust me, they sound much better then they really are, I know.

Thanks For The Info YKNOT, I Had Actually Been Wondering About Daily Driving, This Car Sees Both Street & Strip Action. I Know The Intercooler Will Work Just Fine, And Definately Does Its Job, Just Always Looking For That Extra Little Assurance I Guess
