O/R X pipe and Catback

Im buying an O/R X pipe and Catback and im not sure if i need to re-do my dyno tune. Can i just install it and leave it alone? I just dont want to spend more money on the dyno since i have paid $500 already.

No, you'll be fine. Just turn off the rear sensors

i have been looking at a UPR O/R X pipe. They have 2 for my car, except one has the 02 sensor extension. Do i need this or should i just get the one with no 02 extension?

Hmm. Afraid I only know Machs well. But I know that '03 Machs do not require 02 extensions and '04s do. The stock h-pipes are different on the two models.

I assume that you aren't running a wideband?

Im kind of new to the FI world so im not sure about the wide band. on a different note, I have heard of people re-tunning their car after installing an o/r x pipe because it leans out.

Every car is a little different and you'll hear both responses; tune it, don't tune it. The only way to be sure is, if you don't have a wide-band, to take it to the dyno and have them run it and check the a/f ratio. Wideband is the gauge that reads your a/f accurately. It uses more wires than a regular 02 sensor and is welded into your exhaust pipe near your upstream 02 in front of the cats (if you have them).
This is my wideband. It's an AEM unit:

No problem. Just another gauge to help make sure that you keep track of what's going on with your engine and necessary to properly tune a car. But most people do dyno tuning so you can just use their W/B setup.

Im pretty sure that the 04 GTs as well need the O2 extensions.

I know for a fact that 02 and below dont need them....
