What all can be removed off of 99-04 to make them lighter. I know seats, swap bar, ect. i mean frame wise. ive learned from 5.0guys that they have a big ass steel rod up front thats pointless and one in rear and in doors if u feel like doin paint over

I don't bout the door locks but the window regulators weigh a bit. Also you could loose a few lbs and gain some hp if you do the a/c and power steering pump deletes. Also a light weight stater. And removing all of the a/c vents, hosing, wiring, and heater box too. You could remove your door panels and rear panels. Instead of just a stock manual seat get one of thos super light weight racing seats. I mean I know its a bit much but you did say you wanted to go far lol.

The big metal thing they are talking about is what makes the bumper work and it is technically illegal to remove. However, it is good for about 50 lbs of weight to take it off. Its a big beam right behind your bumper that makes that fiberglass and foam on our modern front bumper work as a protective device. In a race car, its totally worth it, since a cage will give all of the safety you need.

i like the colors. ive looked at kmember b4 but was against them cause i didnt see purpose till i did research and found the weight difference and for turbos theyre almost a must. that much of front w good suspension in back would make even a stock motor do good
