blowoff valve flutter

i really like the sound of my BOV when i shift and stuff, but when i drive normally it flutters and its honestly getting really annoying. for you supercharged guys, does anyone else experience this?? its a greddy type-s BOV. i'm thinking about putting the stock procharger bypass back on but i don't think it will sound as cool. any suggestions?

it flutters cause its not releasing all the pressure which puts strain on the supercharger.

Bob and limited are way south of us.

its more than likely because its not adjusted properly...a lot of people adjust them for the sound n not performance

Well I had the Greddy BOV on my turbo-charged car. It fluttered untill I messed with the spring pressure and got it right. There should be a screw on the top of the BOV if it's the same set-up as my BOV was. You can make the spring tighter or looser to allow it to open and close more easily. Right now it sounds like the BOV is being opened enough to allow all the air to espace out.

Yeah I had the Type-S on my Eclipse.

Correct. Sounds to me like the spring is too tight. So turn it towards the side that says looser on the top of the BOV. Should have a sticker that shows you which way to turn it. You'll have to mess with it. Do it little by little till it goes away.
