Stupid suspension/styling question,

I'm into the old school muscle car look. I'm thinking it would look cool to jack up the back of a mustang about an inch and add on some fat tires and lower the front, has anyone seen this?

How much weight is that gonna shift forward?

Handling?

Look ugly?

Am I thirty years too late here?

yeah i've seen it done quite a few times. you can do 17x10.5 rims in the rear and 17x9 in the front and then get a suspension kid that is higher in the rear but lower in the front. you could do coil overs, i think that would be your best choice but i dont know too much about those so let someone else chime in on that. or you can do 18in rims in the rear and 17s up front something like that. i cant find the pictures right now of the ones i have seen, but if i find them ill upload them for you.

i would reccomend just dropping the front instead of raising the back. the frpp c-spring kit is a lowering kit i would recommend, it seems to give that stance right out of the box.

FRPP c-springs, I hear ya knockin'. Is there any performance change from having the back up farther (handling-wise)? That moves weight forward right?

Thanks for the tip (Said the prostitute to the leper)

no big issues with handling, aftermarket springs have a more aggressive spring rate and will make the car handle a lot better.

+1..i have them..havent put them on put i do beleive that with those the front is a abit lower. Get some 315s in the back and keep 245 in the front and that will give you a good look.
