Front window -whats this thing called-

Ok, probably been asked before but what is the strip of plastic that runs along the bottom of the window where the wipers attach called, and how can I remove it?

Wiper cowl, hood cowl.

Just take off the wiper arms, open the hood about 2/4 way and just literally pull on it, theres 5-6 clips that keep it on, should just pop off and snap in place when your ready to put it back on. But i'm telling you, you might break it, those things seem to crack so easily. Mine is broken in about 6 different place.
