Dim headlight and other problems

Not my car but my buddies 01 bullitt. It started wit him installing some hids, he started having problems with them so he took them out and installed some new silverstars. now one of his headlights are dim, his gauge cluster freaks sometime, and his radio flickers on and off randomly. i found that some grounds were destroyed from him installing a h pipe and not unhooking the battery so theyve been fixed and it still does it what could it be?

Yea your battery is only used to start teh car, thats prob because when you push in the clutch the rpms will drop to idle which slows the alt.

Yeah, im sure its not getting enough voltage. hes been driving it for a month or so like that so im thinking another grounds burned off on it. Anyone know where most of the engine/chassis grounds are located?
