Sub Frame Connector ??

I have a friend with a 2004 Mach 1. He wants to know if sub frame connectors are worth it. He needs help with traction....big time, and wants to know if they are worth it and if they are easy enough to installl himself (with my help), of course.

make the car feel like it is stonger. But won't help him on launches. Lower control arms and upper control ARs will help out the best or him. And if you can't weld you cant put sub frames on your self.

Your friend already has them. The Mach 1's already had them from the factory. They are not quite as good as aftermarket ones, but he does have them. He needs new lower control arms and new bushings for his upper control arms, or a torque arm.

aside from full length sub frame connectors, i would look for a set of HPM's megabite jr control arms if you want something that is really gonna help on the launch...

full length SFC's are absolutely worth it. i got some Maximum Motorsports ones put on my car not too long ago and the difference was night and day. they won't help him hook, but i'd still upgrade the stock ones. he should invest in some nice upper and lower control arms (with poly bushings) if he wants better traction...

Worth every penny. I had custom ones made. I have 175lb drags springs in the front no front sway bar and drag radials. The car still handes alot better than stock.
