so this guy on craigslist is selling a BBK intake with a ported and polishes stok plenum for 100 bucks for all think it's worth it or just wait?

yeah he said he traded in his car and took off all the perforamance shit off of it he said when he put on the intake and the upper plenum he said it almost dropped his 1/4mile time by a quarter of a second i was like ummm yeah whatever dude lol

Stay away from those metal air intakes, they just heat soak, get a JLT

they arent the best, but is a little better than stock. i personally do not like jlt, i have others i would choose other than jlt any day.

i personally dont like fitment, fittings, looks cheap, pain in the ass to work with sometimes, etc. i have delt with a couple, i will never recommend one.

a friend of mine has one on his gt, its ok. the heat sheilds usually are worth th plastic its made of. they do some fancy work with pvc pipe, i do have to give them that.

Yeah the heat shield a agree isnt the greatest. But I swapped out my BBK for that and I think its a hell of a lot better

dont get me wrong, its a good intake, no doubt about that, it a personal thing. i like my C&L personally. non-metallic based intakes, i like s&b, k&n isnt that bad either.

I think just using a drop in filter is the best bang for the buck over a CAI. Unless you're looking for bling.
