What flash tuner to buy????

OK, I bought an SCT selectable chip and am very disappointed. I had a little rattleing under load and at the top and the shifts were waaayyy too hard. I sent it back to be tweaked, and lost 2 mpg and got stock shifts. All this said, I'm now looking at flash programmers, but which one. Diablo, SCT..... some one help!!!!!

i personally like diablo. if you plan on dyno tuning, use what the tuner uses.

I would keep the chip and just get better tunes put on it. If you go to a good dyno place they can reflash the chip to whatever you want.

mail order tweaks are not 100% accurate as no car is 100% the same even with the same mods. keep the chip but take it to get tunned on a dyno. Your viewpoint is sure to change.

with your mods from your sig, it wouldnt appear that you need a dyno tune. however, it would benefit more if you did. JASonic just bought an xcal3 and did a tune himself....basic, but did it and saw some great gains. A dyno tune will help get the best out of your car. Depending on prices and where you go and where you live, they can range from $100 to $400. Calla round and find out what people charge.

I thought about the prp also, but I would need the chip burner as well and it ends up being about $700
