what automatic tranny with 2v

i want to switch to an automatic from a 5 speed.. don't really need overdrive. will a c4 bolt to a 2v motor in an 02 gt?

if i did go with an od is there a harness there for it and will my computer support it?

thanks.

a c-4 will bolt up with the 4.6 c-4 bellhousing, but looking at your sig realizing you are pretty much stock i would go for a 4R70W and you can get those built pretty good

4r70w would be a good choice for you. might as well through a higher stall convertor on it while your at it.

If you are mechanically inclined, might want to look on a local forum to see if anyone is interested in doing a swap with you...lots of auto guys out there want to go manual.

i was thinking about the swap idea with someone. the mechanics is no problem and they would even get a like new MGW.
is this a plug and play or are electronics needed?
